ToyCycle emerged as an innovative solution to foster sustainability and promote the joy of sharing. At LowCode Agency, we had the privilege of partnering with the creators of ToyCycle to develop a unique app that not only connects kids through a safe and supervised platform but also encourages them to trade and buy toys, all while instilling valuable lessons about sharing and responsible consumption.

Challenge

Developing an app that catered to the specific needs of kids and parents posed unique challenges. Our client, driven by the desire to create a safe and engaging platform, envisioned an app where kids could list, browse, and trade toys with parental supervision. Implementing a robust system for parental supervision and ensuring the safety of young users added complexity to the project. Additionally, creating an intuitive user interface that was suitable for kids of all ages and adhering to strict privacy regulations further emphasized the need for careful planning and execution.

Solution

To meet these challenges, we created a seamless onboarding process where parents can add their children to their accounts and send them invitations to join the app. Kids can easily list their toys and browse listings from other kids in their school, fostering a sense of community and promoting social interaction. All transactions, including trade or buy requests and chat messages, are subject to parental approval, ensuring that parents have complete control and oversight over their children's activities on the platform. This comprehensive solution provides a secure and supervised environment for kids to engage in toy trading.
